Your cake reflects your style and we can help you choose a design that fits with the look of your wedding. Below are many examples of cakes we’ve done. You can choose one of these or send a design you find somewhere else or simply describe your cake to us. Be sure to look at photos of our larger wedding cakes for design inspiration.
Your 1812 Hitching Post wedding cake will have butter cream icing as a base and you may choose any butter cream design. Fondant, painted designs, icing colors other than white, gradient designs, and ribbons other than standard colors are available as an upgrade. We have a small selection of available cake toppers or we can use our silk flowers, your silk or live flowers, and/or your provided topper.
Available cake flavors for two tier cakes:
Butter Cup – Delicious and moist, our most popular cake flavor!
White Silk – Simple, yet elegant, pure white cake.
Vanilla Cream – Full-bodied flavor and texture
Chocolate Mousse – A light chocolate cake flavor.
“Ooey Gooey” – Dark chocolate cake.
Strawberry Shortcake – a pretty pink cake lightly flavored with strawberries
Lemon Zest – A wedding cake favorite; sweet and moist.
Red velvet – Dense textured dark red cake made with a hint of chocolate
Pineapple – The most moist cake we make. Everyone is surprised how great this is.
Fillings include butter cream (standard), raspberry, strawberry, chocolate mousse, dark chocolate, lemon, or cream cheese.
