These gorgeous photos of the August wedding of Sunayna and Mahendra were taken by Kristi Marie’s Photography. The couple planned for 28 guests with one long dining table. Live flowers were provided by Johnson’s Florist. The cake and party favor cookies were provided by Amelie’s French Bakery. We provided the gorgeous decor and backdrop as well as wedding coordination.
Rev. Waldron performed the ceremony in which the couple “planted” a Christmas cactus. Guests signed leaves for their guestbook tree.
The cake and yummy cupcakes had chocolate candy accents. The table centerpieces included stained glass accents and blue glass mason jars. Outdoor yard games, a candy bar, and a great selection of music added to the fun of TeAnna and Jacob’s beautiful summer wedding!
TeAnna wrote: Thank you again for coordinating such a beautiful wedding for Jake and I. We truly enjoyed our wedding day, it was so beautiful and everything went smoothly.
This wedding had lovely personal rustic touches. Dark stained boxes with peach, yellow, pink, and coral roses with touches of moss decorated the lace and burlap topped reception tables. Pretty lanterns, burlap curtains, cowboy boots, and rustic food displays carried the theme throughout. The lovely photos were captured by Taylor Gregory Photography.
Summertime is so beautiful! Coleton is a teacher overseas. Together, we planned a beautiful wedding officiated by Rabbi Michael Shields. Photography by Taylor Gregory for the 1812 Hitching Post.
Coleton chose lapis (deep purple) and white with touches of pale pink as her primary colors. Her flowers were hydrangeas with soft pink roses. The family provided a chuppa that her florist decorated beautifully. Hobnail jars provided by the 1812 Hitching Post were filled with similar fresh flowers. We loved her six adorable flower girls!
Coleton and Court’s amazing menu included our spinach and pamesan ravioli, a vegetarian favorite, and an ice cream bar with yummy toppings. Yard games, a kid’s table with toys and games, a photo booth, and dancing contributed to the entertainment for the evening followed by a sparkler send-0ff.
The Hitching Post was a fantastic venue for our wedding! Wendy and her staff set everything up and it was beautiful. It was such a pleasure working with Wendy and she made all the planning and organizing so much easier. I was planning my wedding from overseas and everyone always said how calm I was, my secret weapon? The Hitching post. Thank you Wendy!
Ohhh, that dress – Alicia couldn’t have picked a more perfect dress! Her photographer, Taylor Gregory wrote, “I honestly think Alicia’s wedding dress was my favorite of all time. She was beyond beautiful.”
Alicia and Blake had close to 120 guests for their 6:30 ceremony at the end of July. The arbor was gorgeous with babies breath and coral gerber daisies. Mason jars lined the aisle with babies breath in coral and white. The couple did not serve alcohol at their wedding and chose to have fun syrups to add interest to their drink menu. The BBQ pork menu went great with their country theme. The cake was so sweet with burlap and lace trim. We had a S’mores bar with fire pit. The myrtle trees were dripping with color; it was such a gorgeous evening.
Alicia planned a dance with several men that were important to her in her life and her mother to “Dance With My Father Again.” Her father had passed just weeks before her wedding. She wore a necklace that said “Dad” and had a memorial table and memory photo in her bouquet. It was such a special way to include her father that day; we all felt the love.
