It was so much fun to work with Lindsay! She chose coral and aqua as her wedding colors with touches of gold. We tied the chairs at the ceremony with pool blue sashes and lined the aisle with our white lanterns and peach and coral flower petals. The arbor was decorated with white lace curtains and coordinating silk flowers. The bride provided a bucket of hankies and a “No Ugly Crying” sign. Fan programs had gold glitter. The wedding party walked in to an instrumental version of “Edelweiss” that was so pretty! The recessional music was the theme from “Star Wars.”
For the cocktail hour, the couple had shrimp, spinach dip, bacon wrapped smokies, fig and mascarpone puffs, and asiago asparagus. The reception area was decorated with aqua or “mermaid” tablecloths, gold chargers, coral napkins, gold bowls with silk bouquets, and gold votive candles. Entrees were pork tenderloin, herbed chicken, and pot roast. The couple had a champagne toast with some fun speeches. We got some beautiful sunset photos! A very special moment was a dedication to Lindsay’s sister and father. They had a wonderful dance together to “Unforgettable” to commemorate the sister’s father/daughter dance 19 years ago. The evening ended with a sparkler send-off to “I’ve Had the Time of My Life.” It was a perfect evening!
