Pam and Tamera chose chocolate brown and blue for their wedding colors to reflect their love of nature. The two brides had been together for many years and had not expected to be able to be legally married. It was fun to work together on the details of their same sex wedding.
There were so many details at the ceremony! A memorial table with handmade runner included those who could not be there with the ceremony. The chairs were in a semi-circle and were “tied off” before the ceremony started. The brides walked through the lace curtained white arbor toward the wooden arbor decorated with their fabric curtain. Chocolate sashes and mason jars with white hydrangeas lined the aisle.
The cake topper was a wooden tree with their names and rainbow colored leaves. The cake was designed just for them with a heart and vine design that coordinated with their stationary and cake topper. The couple provided aqua napkins and multi colored party lights for the tent. Party favors were yummy gift bags with moon pies, snikerdoodle coffee, and “Winston Salem” mix of cheese popcorn and caramel corn. The couple’s aunt provided the “official” photography.
