Venue
26 acres of beautiful lawns, fields, a lake, and trails for you and your guests on your wedding day. The historic main house is open for you with dressing rooms, make-up room, kid’s playroom, 4 bathrooms, and gathering areas.
Venue Coordination/Music
Your wedding venue coordinator is there to manage everything on site for you! She will manage how you want things set-up through the exit. Your on-site coordinator is there to make sure things happen the way you want. We take care of the details and even light your candles! We manage the sound system to play your choices of music. Speakers and microphones included.
The venue coordinator will also cut your cake to serve.
Decorations, Tables, Chairs, and Linens
We set up our tables, chairs, linens, and centerpieces for you. We also will help you with the set-up of your provided items.
We will work with your ideas to have a vision for your wedding that fully reflects your styles and personalities. We will help plan and execute your wedding. We have so many options for you to choose from! We offer dozens of tablecloth colors and runners so you can achieve the look you want without extra rental expenses.
Choose what you want from our existing inventory of arbors, silk greenery, and/or flowers and fabric draping. We also have shepherd’s hooks, petals, lanterns, vases, jars, etc. We also have flower girl baskets, ring bearer pillows, signs, card cage, gift table, and cake stands to use. We have boxes, baskets, crates, and barrels, too! You are also welcome to bring your own backdrop and/or flowers.
Choose what you’d like for us to use for your centerpieces. You are also welcome to bring your own centerpieces.
Bartender Service: Bartender service for your reception. Bring beer, wine, canned/bottled drinks (Truly, etc.) and up to 3 container liquor drinks (example: Vodka/cranberry or Margarita). Couple provides all alcohol and mixers; venue provides ice, cups, and bartender service.
Cash bar options and full liquor options available; please ask.
Fire pit – essential for S’mores! We provide the wood, light the fire, and have marshmallow toasting sticks. Order the yummy S’mores via our Hitchin Kitchen Catering.
Saturdays
- One hour for your rehearsal with venue coordinator there (typically Friday evening)
- 4 hours before the ceremony at the venue for hair/make-up and getting ready
- 5 hours at the venue for your ceremony and reception.
The venue rentals for Saturday dates starts at just 5400 for up to 80 people with everything listed above included! Bring your own catering or add through our Hitchin Kitchen. We can accommodate up to 200 people on a Saturday. Time and services can be added to your event (add time on Friday for a rehearsal dinner!)
Sundays
- One hour for your rehearsal with venue coordinator there (typically Friday evening)
- 3 hours before the ceremony at the venue for hair/make-up and getting ready
- 4 hours at the venue for your ceremony and reception.
The venue rentals for Sunday dates starts at just 3800 for up to 50 people with everything listed above included! Bring your own catering or add through our Hitchin Kitchen. We can accommodate up to 150 people on a Sunday. Time and services can be added to your event.
On-site catering is available with packages starting at 25 per person. You can choose to bring your own catering. The 1812 Hitchin’ Kitchen staff services (table bus service, handle trash, restock food, tray cookies, etc.), are available for outside catering.
We offer the services of an interdenominational Christian minister or you can bring your own minister or officiate.
Couples typically bring anything they want us to set out for their wedding to the rehearsal. We then set out things ahead of time as much as possible for you: party favors, programs, guest book, etc.
At the end of the event, we help you gather your belongings. You can’t have an easier experience!
