Summertime is so beautiful! Coleton is a teacher overseas. Together, we planned a beautiful wedding officiated by Rabbi Michael Shields. Photography by Taylor Gregory for the 1812 Hitching Post.
Coleton chose lapis (deep purple) and white with touches of pale pink as her primary colors. Her flowers were hydrangeas with soft pink roses. The family provided a chuppa that her florist decorated beautifully. Hobnail jars provided by the 1812 Hitching Post were filled with similar fresh flowers. We loved her six adorable flower girls!
Coleton and Court’s amazing menu included our spinach and pamesan ravioli, a vegetarian favorite, and an ice cream bar with yummy toppings. Yard games, a kid’s table with toys and games, a photo booth, and dancing contributed to the entertainment for the evening followed by a sparkler send-0ff.

The Hitching Post was a fantastic venue for our wedding! Wendy and her staff set everything up and it was beautiful. It was such a pleasure working with Wendy and she made all the planning and organizing so much easier. I was planning my wedding from overseas and everyone always said how calm I was, my secret weapon? The Hitching post. Thank you Wendy!
