Tina and Michael were married in the afternoon on Easter Sunday. The lilac bushes were in full bloom for their early April wedding. Tina’s mom was in attendance. She left quite an impression on me; such a loving spirit! I was happy to be able to capture their images, some of which are below. Tina made a cute slideshow out of her favorites that you can view here:
Tina also left a review on our site. This is what she wrote:
Planning a wedding is no joke. I thought it would be a simple task. Me and my husband Michael have both been married before and wanted this wedding to be small and private. There are some common wedding details that cannot be overlooked, and I was starting to get a little overwhelmed. We found it all at the 1812 Hitching Post.
What a relief! To have the venue, the minister, the photographer, and the cake all in one place, and at an incredible value. All we had to do was show up! Wendy and Patrick Waldron were the perfect hosts. They followed our instructions to a tee. Everything came together beautifully.
When I look back on the day we got married, I will always remember how special it was, and how the Waldrons made us feel. The 1812 Hitching Post was everything that we wanted it to be. It was private. It was romantic. We shared a sacred moment in time and have some beautiful photos to reflect it.
Thank you both,
Michael and Tina Smith
Thank YOU, TINA!!!
