Kendra & Dustin – 4th of July Wedding
Kendra and Dustin planned an early morning wedding on the 4th of July with six guests attending. Kendra chose our white muslin drapes to be hung on the front of the arbor with white lanterns at the base. We included brightly colored silk flowers in pink, orange, lilac and purples to coordinate with her wildflower bouquet.
Kendra’s daughter walked her down the aisle. For their champagne toast, they had a personalized wine bottle holder for their glasses. Their wedding cake had the couple’s monogram and was decorated with wildflowers the bride had grown for the wedding.
The couple hired a drone photographer who took some great photos (see one of the venue, below). All other photos included by Wendy Waldron Photography.
Erin and Tom – June Wedding
Erin and Tom planned the sweetest wedding featuring their seven grandchildren as attendants. The 1812 Hitching Post provided all decor except for the live flowers. The Hitching Post also provided corn hole, giant Jenga, ring toss, and ladder toss which were fun for both kids and adults. One of the primary features of the wedding was the completely vegan menu. For appetizers, Erin chose bruschetta, tomato soup shooters with vegan grilled cheese, a baked potato bar, salad bar, and juice bar. Entrees were pasta primavera, roasted red pepper hummus quesadillas, and veggie kebabs. Sides of green beans, broccoli, and rolls finished out the menu. Even the naked cake was vegan. All food provided by 1812 Hitching Post catering.
