Erin and Tom planned the sweetest wedding featuring their seven grandchildren as attendants. The 1812 Hitching Post provided all decor except for the live flowers. The Hitching Post also provided corn hole, giant Jenga, ring toss, and ladder toss which were fun for both kids and adults. One of the primary features of the wedding was the completely vegan menu. For appetizers, Erin chose bruschetta, tomato soup shooters with vegan grilled cheese, a baked potato bar, salad bar, and juice bar. Entrees were pasta primavera, roasted red pepper hummus quesadillas, and veggie kebabs. Sides of green beans, broccoli, and rolls finished out the menu. Even the naked cake was vegan. All food provided by 1812 Hitching Post catering.
We used dark plum, lavender, and yellow for Amanda’s decor. Her cupcakes were dark chocolate, lemon, and pineapple in cute vintage wrappers. The 1812 Hitching Post provided all the components for the centerpieces and ceremony decor except for the live flowers.
Their yummy menu included fruit kebabs, cheese stuffed mushrooms, and veggies as appetizers with our famous pulled pork, tequila lime chicken with peppers, roasted red potatoes, mac and cheese, and salad bar on the main buffet. S’mores by the firepit rounded out the evening.
I’m a June bride and I have a special place in my heart for June weddings! Tricia and Chris had perfect wedding weather and lots of fun food at their wedding! They had the ice cream bar with toppings, the mashed potato bar, and bacon wrapped chicken and popcorn as some of their appetizers. The gorgeous wedding photography was provided by Taylor Cline Photography!
After posting a different “Amber and Jason” wedding on Facebook, THIS Jason made a comment that sent me back to their photos. Their June wedding was gorgeous and so special with the touches of red and a horse and carriage. I had to post their photos again! Jason first cracked me up with a comment after the tasting and he’s been making me smile ever since on Facebook. Amber is the perfect “foil” for him; so feminine and sweet! Nothing compares to their life now with little Autumn Rose, but their 2012 wedding was pretty darn awesome!
Ally and Dustin had close to 150 guests at their June 14th wedding. Their wedding was so beautiful that I had trouble narrowing down the photos! Ally’s flowers were provided by Cline’s Florist. They had beautiful white hydrangeas as bouquets and centerpieces. We had LOTS of candles; 12 votives and tea lights on each table. The natural theme included burlap overlays and sashes as well as birch containers for the centerpiece flowers.
Candy bars with the guests names and table numbers directed them to reception seating. Ally and Dustin provided small colored canvases as their “guest book” for guests to paint and decorate. It was such a cute and fun idea for a guest book!
The 1812 Hitching Post provided a candy bar with candy in blue and white to stay with the theme. Ally provided a martini called “Something Blue” that was a hit with the bridesmaids. The couple had piggy banks for “bets” on who would get smeared worse with the cake. Dustin ended up the loser or winner . . . . I’m not sure! :-)
Ally’s wedding was memorable in so many ways. She and so many members of her family have an exceptional bond. It was such a blessing to share in their event.
