After posting a different “Amber and Jason” wedding on Facebook, THIS Jason made a comment that sent me back to their photos. Their June wedding was gorgeous and so special with the touches of red and a horse and carriage. I had to post their photos again! Jason first cracked me up with a comment after the tasting and he’s been making me smile ever since on Facebook. Amber is the perfect “foil” for him; so feminine and sweet! Nothing compares to their life now with little Autumn Rose, but their 2012 wedding was pretty darn awesome!
Shelby and Michael – June Wedding
Weddings are a wonderful way to bring children and their extended families together for memories that last a lifetime. It’s an opportunity for all members of the family to get to know each other better at an event that celebrates love. What could be a more positive influence on a child? When the couple getting married has children, as with Shelby and Michael, the wedding takes on additional meaning as a new family is also forming. Shelby and Michael’s wedding, featuring colors from hot pink to peach, was joyful, loving, and romantic. Enjoy the lovely photos by Taylor Gregory Photography.
Alexis and Jamin
This gorgeous wedding at the end of May photographed by Taylor Gregory Photography featured colors of blush, gray, and pewter with centerpieces including milk glass vases and mercury glass votives. Centerpieces were provided by Willow Branch. Such a pretty wedding! My favorite part was during the toasts when Alexis’ father told the story about how they bonded over the song “Iron Man.” :-)
Cailin and Michael
Shake off the winter blues; nothing says spring like tulips! Cailin and Michael choose a “Love Bird” theme with mint green and pink. Michael wore his pink tie as a blindfold to meet with Cailin before the ceremony without seeing her.
The arbor had drop crystals and live flowers with babies breath. Babies breath lined the aisle in blue mason jars. The bride’s niece and nephew were flower girl and ring bearer. The cake was strawberry on the inside with mint icing dusted with gold sprinkles. They also had a naked gluten free cake topped with golden chocolate bunnies.
These gorgeous photos were taken by Taylor Gregory Photography. I LOVE the ring shots!
Elizabeth and Chris – April Wedding
Elizabeth and her family planned a wedding for close to 200 people at the end of April. Elizabeth chose coral and pink with touches of silvery shimmer for her decorations. The gorgeous peonies, hydrangeas, and ranunculous bouquets and cake flowers were provided by Willow Branch.
The bride provided clear jugs that we filled with water beads and springs of sparkly leaves. Around the jugs were coffee filter “flowers” the bridal party made in corals and pinks. The overlays were sheer silver. Side vases had floating candles.
The weather turned unseasonably cold, so we held the ceremony under the tent. Elizabeth was so happy to have her daddy walk her down the aisle! After the ceremony, photos included Elizabeth’s adorable dog. A sparkler send-off ended the fabulous evening.
