Kristia and Jim’s November 7th wedding was our last “big” wedding of the year. The Boutonnieres for the groomsmen were hand made. The arbor was decorated with silk leaves and flowers and silk flowers in mason jars lined the aisles on wood stumps. The ceremony was planned outdoors but was moved under the tent at the last minute due to a sudden rain. It dried up afterward and outdoor photos were possible. The bride’s cousin provided live guitar music for the ceremony.
Their cake was caramel applesauce flavored and was topped with a silhouette couple with their dog. Appetizers included spinach dip, bacon wrapped chicken, and bruschetta. Entrees were pecan encrusted trout and roast beef. The tables had navy tablecloths with silver chargers. Some tables also had silver overlays. Centerpieces of submerged leaves with floating candles were provided by the 1812 Hitching Post.
Cute party favors of mini rum and cokes in a mason jar were popular with guests. The first dance was Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” The bride had two dances with her fathers. One was an Elvis Mix that was customized by our DJ and one was to a song called “I Don’t Dance.” The couple left to a sparkler send-off after some FUN party dancing!
