The Micro wedding package is designed for those who have fewer guests and small or no wedding parties. The price for up to 40 people with a full reception is just 2500. Five hours of time are included with this package. More time can be added on, if you wish. Two hours are for getting ready before the ceremony. Three hours cover the ceremony and reception. In your wedding package are staff services to set up and decorate everything you’ve planned with us. We also include tablecloths, runners, and centerpieces. You are welcome to bring your own decorations. Candles are placed throughout the venue. We will plan ahead for everything you need so you can relax and enjoy your wedding day to the fullest. We include the venue coordinator to set up, plan, and execute your ceremony. You’ll have our professional sound crew for your ceremony and reception.
Here is a typical outline for the Micro Wedding.
Once you arrive, you’ll take your clothing and go to the bridal suite of rooms. We have a large dressing room that I’ll show you when you visit. It has a balcony in front which is an awesome place for photos. There is a make-up room with a glamour mirror. There are also two bathrooms and a playroom upstairs so you have lots of room to spread out.
While you’re getting ready, your fiance will be getting dressed in their dressing area downstairs. There is a large screen TV or they can relax on the veranda while you finish getting ready.
Before the wedding, your photographer will typically capture special moments like you getting into your dress.
Shortly before the ceremony starts, we will start the prelude music. You will have chosen all your music in the planning stages. We will play your choices for your ceremony and reception. Guests enter and are seated. Your 1812 Hitching Post venue coordinator will be there with you for cues.
After the ceremony, you’d typically have photos with everyone. Some couples choose to have a cocktail hour after the ceremony; some prefer to skip that with a smaller wedding. When we talk with you before you book your wedding, we can determine what will work best for you. Then, we can make a plan.
After photos, you’ll enter your reception and have your first dance. Some couples also choose to have a father/daughter, mother/son, or other formal dances.
Most couples will order or bring catering which is typically served after you enter the reception. You cut your cake and the rest of the time is spent socializing and dancing if you have dance music. Some couples add on outdoor games, the fire pit, and a send-off to bubbles or sparklers.
