Smaller weddings can be the most intensely romantic! When your group is smaller, you can concentrate on the details and your love!
You may want something super simple or you might want a “Platinum” experience. These packages are all designed for 10 to about 50 people. If your wedding size is close to this but you need or want something different, just let us know which package is closest to what you need and the changes you’d like to make.
Most people book their weddings with the minimum number of people they expect and then they add on additional people, if any, a month before the wedding when they have received responses to their invitations and know how many of those invited are coming.
Many couples include an overnight or two at our 2-bedroom Willow cottage to extend their wedding experience. Arrive the day before your wedding and settle in. Have your wedding the next day and stay for your honeymoon!

1812 Hitching Post Micro Platinum Package
This is an all-inclusive package designed for the couple who want ALL the BEST we offer on a smaller scale.
Includes a full reception with DJ, wedding cake, catering, photography, centerpieces, wedding planning,
bartender service, sparklers, and more!
- Venue
- Full access to public rooms in the main house as well as access to all public areas (including lake and fields) on the property.
Exclusive use; no other wedding will be planned during the time of your event. - Parking area for you and your guests to park with night-time lighting

We will pre-plan your event with you so everything runs smoothly and will provide rehearsal and day of event coordination of our services as planned. - Minister
Services of Christian minister with vows customized with you (also ok to bring your own minister) - DJ Services – 4 1/2 hours
Professional DJ/sound system for your ceremony and reception music. Microphone for minister, any readers, announcements, and toasts. We will coordinate your music choices with you via our wedding planning checklist so you have the music you want. - Decoration Services
We will decorate your ceremony location with our silk greenery and/or flowers and any other decorator items we own on your behalf or you may provide your own live or silk flowers/florist to decorate. Couple may provide their own backdrop, if desired.
We provide and set up our lanterns, shepherd’s hooks, baskets, buckets, crates, signs, and any available decor you desire from our inventory for your aisle and reception room.
We provide and set up all tablecloths and runners as desired from our available inventory.
We provide tables for your dining (round and farmhouse) as well as any needed ceremony tables (guestbook, etc.) and misc. tables.
We provide and set up white fan-back chairs for your ceremony and reception.
We will provide centerpieces created for you and we will set them up the day of your wedding (may be in conjunction with your provided centerpiece items/live flowers or you may provide all centerpiece items)
We provide nighttime lighting - Bartender Service
Bartender service for your reception. You provide your own beer and wine (any flavors or brands; bottles, cans, or kegs). We provide bartender, cups, and ice. Up to two container signature drinks with liquor may also be included; we provide containers. - Catering
Your choice of any two entrees, and any four sides plus your wedding cake and beverages including tea, water, lemonade, and coffee. Your choice of white or mismatched china and your choice of color of linen napkins as well as metal flatware are all included! - 36″ sparklers for send-off
- Photography
6 hours of professional photography from the getting ready through the your sparkler send-off! You’ll receive all photos after they are edited as a digital download. - Sparklers – 36″ sparklers for your send-off
Couples typically bring anything they want us to set out for their wedding such party favors, programs, and guest book and we help you gather your belongings at the end of the event to make taking home things easy for you and your families.

Our “Simply Sweet” Wedding package is designed for the couple on a budget to maximize your wedding dollar. We include your ceremony and reception decorations, tables with linens, and set-up/break-down of wedding decor including centerpieces. We also include sound for your ceremony and reception, catering of a full meal as well as wedding direction and photography! This is ideal for those with a smaller wedding party or those who want a “simple” wedding.
- Two separate dressing areas in main house for couple and wedding party dressing.
- Services of minister with customized vows (or bring your own minister)
- Decorated ceremony location – we will decorate our side lawn ceremony location with your choice of our available decorations for arbor and aisle (or may provide your own decorations, including live flowers, if you wish).
- Ceremony Seating for your guests with white fan-back chairs (we set up and break down)
- Any needed ceremony tables (guest book table, unity/sand/etc. easel/stand, etc. We set up and break down)
- Access to public rooms of the main house and to all outdoor areas (26 acres) for you and your guests; wisteria room and adjoining patio reception area
- Dining tables with your choice of tablecloths and/or overlay/runners (we set up and break down) including round and farmhouse tables; sweetheart table for the two of you, if desired
- Centerpieces created from items we own (floating candles, silk flowers, vases/mason jars, lanterns, etc.) Our items can be combined with your items or your live flowers or we will set up your provided centerpieces as directed
- Reception seating for you and your guests with white fan-back chairs (we set up and break down)
- Cake cutting with forks, plates, napkins. We will cut your cake and serve it to your guests (may add on a cake through us).
- Catering to include your choice of one entree and 4 sides
- Single serve plates, flatware, and paper napkins
- Table bus service
- Non-alcoholic attended beverages (tea, lemonade, water, and coffee). Ice and cups provided
- 4 hours DJ/sound services for your provided music for ceremony & reception music.
- We will help you set out your bride provided items when you arrive (party favors, programs, guest book, etc.) and will help you gather your belongings at the end of the event.
- Day of event wedding direction for ceremony and reception events & venue coordination
- Hi-lights photography by Wendy Waldron Photography including wedding ceremony, formal photos, and all reception events; all photos will be professionally edited and given to you as download about a month after the wedding (2 hours total shoot time)

Best Friends & Family Plus
Designed for couples who want a “simple” ceremony and reception with table seating. If you are on a tight budget and want more of a “do it yourself” wedding with beautiful backdrop, this package might be for you! You can bring your own cake and/or photography or order through us.
Included are:
- 5 hours of venue time (2 hours for decorating/getting ready; 3 hours for ceremony and reception)
- Two separate dressing areas in the main house for couple and any wedding party
- Services of minister (or you may bring your own minister) with vows customized as you’d like
- Decorated ceremony location – we will decorate our side lawn ceremony location with your choice of our available decorations for arbor and aisle (or may provide your own decorations, including live flowers, if you wish).
- Ceremony Seating for your guests with white fan-back chairs (we set up and break down)
- Reception area with table seating and tables for you to set up food. Choice of tablecloth colors; you provide centerpieces, if desired.
- Reception seating
- Sound system/music delivery for your wedding music
- Self-serve non-alcoholic beverages ( tea, water, and coffee) provided with ice and cups.
