The 1812 Hitching Post is happy to partner with the “Hitching’ Kitchen” for our in-house catering. We are located in a farming community. We cook like our grandmothers did with local and fresh ingredients from our organic garden and neighborhood farmer’s markets. We use non GMO oil. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dishes are available. We know you want your wedding meal to be extraordinary!
You can choose from one of our packaged menus or design your own menu. Our in-house catering is designed for buffet style catering with station and hand-passed appetizer options.
You are also welcome to bring your own catering, even from home, or hire outside vendors so you have exactly the taste and style you desire for your event.

Candy bar – 8 different flavors of candy in apothecary jars with scoops
Assorted desserts – mini eclairs, chocolate covered strawberries, mini cheesecakes, cookies and brownies
Cookie bar – Just cookies; all kinds including chocolate chip, sugar, lemon bars, and peanut butter
Donut topping bar – glazed donuts with drizzles and toppings. Milk on the side.
S’mores bar – Hersheys, marshmallows, graham crackers, sticks, and cute sign by the firepit.
