Are we allowed to leave things in the getting ready suites during the ceremony and reception
Yes. We encourage you to gather items neatly. Guests enjoy viewing the rooms. They may wish to see these areas. If you don’t want friends or family to access the suites; please let us know.
What are the dressing suites like?
The upstairs has three rooms and two bathrooms dedicated for the bride with a make-up room, playroom, two bathrooms, and a balcony. There is a separate partner suite dressing area downstairs that has it’s own bathroom, too.
Are we allowed to bring drinks/snacks while getting ready?
Yes, you can have drinks and snacks in the dressing rooms.
Can we take photos in the house?
Yes, we have lovely vintage rooms and furnishings that photograph well. There are picture windows, a balcony, and porches that all enhance your photos.
How much time do we have before the wedding for getting ready?
That depends upon your package. The elopements have one to two hours to get ready; the Micro wedding has two hours, and the classic wedding package has at least four hours. You can always add more time if desired.
Can my hair and make-up artist come to the venue?
Yes, we have vendor forms for vendors. Please let us know who will be coming.
Can my friends and family visit in the suites prior to the wedding ceremony?
Yes, you may want photos before the wedding; you are welcome to have photos in any room in the house and you can invite anyone you’d like to share that time with you.
