There is no prettier time of year to get married than in the spring when the azaleas are blooming! Heather & Derrick’s wedding featured the Hitching Post circle arbor. It was wrapped with white fabric. The arbor was decorated with eucalyptus and flowers in cream, burgundy, and navy. The venue also provided all table decorations.
The yummy catering included appetizers of Carolina Crab bites and bacon wrapped chicken. The main meal included bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, herbed chicken, mixed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, and rolls. The two flavored cake, also provided by the Hitching Post, had navy buttercream roses.
Derrick’s grandmother performed the moving ceremony featuring a braided cord. The daddy/daughter dance was an emotional “In Pooh Corner.” The S’mores bar and fire pit was a big hit and everyone loved the sparkler send-off!
Heather left this 5-star review: “I got married 4/22/22 at 1812 Hitching Post and it was the absolute best day of my life! Wendy and her crew did an amazing job and made everything go so smooth! I can’t say enough great things about this venue. Book now, you will not regret it! Oh and the food and cake are amazing!!”
