Mezzaluna serves perfectly cooked Italian dishes. They have a romantic atmosphere and a great wine list. Mezzaluna has a meeting room that can host about 20 people.
Worth the Trip
If you’re willing to drive a little further, three of my favorite restaurants are located just south of Statesville.
In downtown historic Mooresville, you’ll find the Epic Chophouse. Their phone number is 704-230-1720. They have a very large room for rehearsal dinners. It’s also a fabulous restaurant for eloping couples in town who’d like a treat.
If you want the best seafood in the area (people from Florida come here for the seafood!), try Big Daddy’s of Lake Norman at 1162 River Hwy, Mooresville, NC. Phone: 704-663-4242.
