Noah and Alexa celebrated their June wedding at 1812 Hitching Post. Our historic wedding venue is located near Statesville, NC, and is conveniently close to Charlotte, Mooresville, Hickory, and Winston-Salem. Their day was filled with timeless Southern charm and thoughtful personal touches.
The couple shared an intimate and emotional first look on the side lawn before the ceremony. This gave them a quiet moment together before the celebration began. Their gorgeous outdoor ceremony took place beneath blooming pink mimosa trees. A stunning circle arbor decorated in blue and white florals and lush greenery, which creates a romantic garden setting.
Their reception was equally beautiful. The dining tables featured elegant Carolina blue table overlays, adding a classic North Carolina touch that perfectly complemented the floral design. Guests found their seats using a large custom seating chart. Guests then enjoyed a relaxed evening with yard games, conversation on the lawn, and plenty of time to celebrate with family and friends.
The couple’s first dance was to Chris Stapleton’s “Millionaire,” setting a heartfelt tone for the evening. Their wedding cake delighted guests with alternating tiers of lemon cake with blueberry filling and rich chocolate cake with chocolate filling—a delicious combination that was as beautiful as it was memorable.
As the sun set over the property, everyone gathered outside for a joyful sparkler send-off, creating a magical finale and unforgettable photographs. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful June wedding filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments.
