There is no prettier time of year to get married than in the spring when the azaleas are blooming! Heather & Derrick’s wedding included the Hitching Post circle arbor wrapped with white fabric and decorated with eucalyptus, cream, burgundy, and navy flowers. The venue also provided all table decorations.
The yummy catering included appetizers of Carolina Crab bites and bacon wrapped chicken. The main meal included bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, herbed chicken, mixed vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, and rolls. The two flavored cake, also provided by the Hitching Post, included navy buttercream roses with a medium blue center layer and cream top layer.
Derrick’s grandmother performed the moving ceremony featuring a braided cord. The daddy/daughter dance was an emotional “In Pooh Corner.” The S’mores bar and firepit was a big hit and everyone loved the sparkler send-off!

I can’t say enough great things about this venue. Book now, you will not regret it! Oh and the food and cake are amazing!!”
